BBWM Attendance, Reschedule, and No-Show Policy
Beyond Boundaries Without Measures (BBWM) is committed to serving as many South Suburban Cook County residents as possible through our free programs. Because lab seats are limited to 10-20 per class, a no-show or late cancellation directly reduces access for another resident who could have taken that spot.
1. Reschedule Limit
Participants may reschedule a registered workshop up to 2 times within any 30-day period.
2. Pause Policy
A third cancellation, reschedule, or no-show within that 30-day window will result in a 30-day pause on new class registrations.
3. No-Shows
Registering for a workshop and not attending, without contacting BBWM in advance or replying "Cancel" to the text reminder sent 24 hours before class starts, counts the same as a late cancellation under this policy.
4. Returning After a Pause
Participants are welcome to register again once the 30-day pause period ends. There is no limit on how many times someone may return to BBWM programming.
5. Accommodations
Participants facing ongoing barriers to attendance, such as transportation, health, or caregiving needs, are encouraged to contact BBWM directly at contact@bbwm.org or (708) 259-8284. We will work with you on a plan that fits your situation.
This policy exists to protect fair access to a limited, free, community resource. It is not intended to penalize individuals.
